While working on Virtual Production, I find it crucial to master Unreal Engine as a cinematographer. I am proficient in animating, creating materials, using decals, blueprints, and creating environments. My focus is on how the software translates on-set lighting conditions into digital lighting workflows, including settings and optimisation of the image using Lumen and ray tracing.
Inspired by how Unreal Engine is employed in cinematography and filmmaking, I utilise the sequencer to produce animations and films. Unreal facilitates pre-lighting, compositing, scene blocking, sequencing, and camera movements.
